While some of you might not agree with keylogging, others might use it to keep an eye on their computer, because it’s an important tool for monitoring and recording every action that take place on the computer. But like gambling or drinking, many people practice it but few admit they are doing it.
Let’s keep in mind that keylogging is an immoral act only when it’s installed on someone else’s computer without their notice.
This might get you in problem with law. Is not a secret that wore many cases when different peoples were investigated or even accused for using spy software. I remember about a young man arrested for installing webcam spy software on a woman’s laptop. Of course that was not a very good idea but he was old enough to respond for his acts and what happened was only a consequence of his behavior.
On the other side if we take a look in the police yard or into any other security organizations, keyloggers is a bind between hackers and them. Using spy software they might track hackers or online thieves.
For example, in Germany was expressed once time the interest in developing a keylogger to install on computer of a criminal suspected. Another example I read about was in India where police installed spy software in cyber cafes to prevent terrorism.
As you can see keyloggers are used every day. And you also can use it as long as you install it on your computer and you don’t break anyone’s privacy rights.
