These days’ technologies and the latest applications developed are making able an interconnection that we have never dreamed of. A good example is Google Latitude a free service from Google that allows user to track specific mobile location. You can enjoy using Google Latitude on your phone, on your computer, or on both of them.
If you are a parent that this application it’s just great. You can contact your spouse or children with a phone call, SMS or IM. You can also get their location and status messages and even to send yours to them. It is an easy method to find out if your child is still at school or if it is already at home. You simply log into Google Latitude, or check Google Maps on the computer or phone, and an icon pointing the location of your child will show up.
The best part is that you don’t have to limit to your family. You can create specific networks and enable Google Latitude. If you have employees whose job description require itinerary, you can keep their track with this application.
The good news is that Google is not stopping here and a future plan is to develop Google Latitudes in order to become a more graphical version of Twitter.

I feel like you do on this subject. There is plenty of good stuff out there to pile on our computers to make it safe but it is hard to stay ahead of the bad stuff. I’ve actually put some keystrokers on my computer that were supposed to protect my family. So your words are appreciated, but the picture is what caught my eye. It was perfect for the post.
