Cell phone spying has become all the rage over the past few years and there are loads of spy phone software to satiate your thirst for spying. Of course, cell phone spying is a much misunderstood concept with people assuming its some sort of device that can be used to crack into any phone. That is just a huge misconception. Cell phone spying essentially means that with the use of the appropriate software, you can keep your mobile in your control.

You have the power to monitor the kind of activity your phone is used for and control it. There is plenty of software available in the market and of course, online as well. Ever snooped through your significant other’s messages or your child’s call list? Well, this software effectively makes it way easier for you to snoop and more exhaustively as well.

Cell phone spying is a popular technique used by employers too for the primary reason of keeping a track on their employee’s activities. Companies often give mobiles to executives and being human, we use it for personal purposes. With the spying software, companies can keep track of how the employee is using the phone and use this information to their advantage by limiting costs. Employers get a good idea of how the phone is being used, how much, where, for what purposes and if the phone is being misused then the employers can take the necessary steps to stop it.

This software is useful for parents who are worried about that their child may be doing drugs or involved in dangerous activities.

And for all the ladies out there whose man may have some issues with fidelity, it is a perfect way to confirm your suspicions.

Cell phone spy software can now be purchased for iPhones, BlackBerry, Nokia, Windows Mobile and even the new Android cell phones. This software on a smartphone also gives out its location so no matter where your child is, you are always aware and this can even potentially save them from dangerous situations. The philandering lover is always on your screen and now you know all his moves.

There are lots of software products but only some of them are worthwhile. Currently, the best spy phone products are Flexispy PRO X, Neo Call and Mobile Spy. For instance, Flexispy PRO X offers a range of features such as secret recording of all text messages, emails and calls, it has GPS tracking, SIM change notification, remote listening and Live call interception which is an un-contended feature right now.

Before you purchase any software make sure to read all the reviews to select the one which suits your phone and the target phone best. Avoid certain typical mistakes such as not reading the refund policy, not verifying supported phone list, whether you can access the target phone, not reading all the installation instructions and of course, choosing the wrong products.

These days while I was searching on Google “how to h…”. I was surprised that the suggestions given were all related to hacking MySpace except the first one, which was “how to hard boil eggs”. It’s a funny combination but when you think that most of these searchers are teens, the fun is lost. If teens know how to hack MySpace, I think parents should also know.

Therefore, I made some research and I found out that there are three important methods about how someone can hack Myspace: using spy software, phishing and social engineering technique.

Spy software

It’s a very easy method but the difficult part become in finding the right application. These spy software are called key-loggers and can be hardware and software. The hardware key-logger is a device plugged inline between keyboard and computer, while software key-logger is an application that runs in stealth mode. Both are recording keystrokes and are sending reports with the activity to a specific e-mail address.
If you have no physical access to the specific computer, then you can use remote key-logger, which can be sent by e-mail as an attachment to a file. The installation starts automatically (in stealth mode) when the person in cause downloads the attachment.

Phishing

Phishing is about luring people to a fake MySpace login page. They are entering their login information into a page that is not the real MySpace, which is recording the information and sends it to your e-mail address or saves it in a .txt file. Especially the spammers use this method.

Social engineering

Social engineering is about manipulating people to divulge confidential information. This is not an ethical way to get someone’s password but there are many examples given in this direction.

There are many other tools and methods to hack a MySpace account but the majorities base on the three great categories mentioned above. Some people / teens find it easier to pay someone to hack an account, of course for a significant reward.

If you are a parent that need some easy solution and tutorials related on how you could track the websites visited by your child then you will be very interested in this post.
In the beginning I would like to mention that tracking websites is not a privacy invasion; it’s more a parental control aspect in order to assure that your child is having a safe and secure online browsing. Checking from time to time the websites visited is recommended by the communities and associations involved in child’s online privacy and security.

The first way to track websites visited by your child is by checking the Internet History. Considering there are more browsers used the steps are different accordingly to each one.
Below I will provide the steps you have to take in order to view the websites visited for each browser in part.

Web pages recently visited on Internet Explorer:

Click on “My Computer“

Go to your computer’s “C drive“

Click on “Documents and Settings“

Click on your username

Click on “Local Settings“

Click on “Temporary Internet Files“

To view recent downloads on Mozilla Firefox:

Click on the “Tools” tab (found at the top of your browser after it is open)

Click on “Options“

Click on “Privacy“

Click on “Download History“

Click on “View download history“

Websites recently visited on Mozilla Firefox:

Press the “CTRL” and “H” keys at the same time.

Websites recently visited on Google Chrome:

Click on the “Tools” button and select “History“

Press the “CTRL” and “H” keys at the same time

Hold down the back or forward button for a couple of seconds (if either button is enabled) and choose “Show Full History” from the pop-up menu that appears

A disadvantage of this easy to apply techniques is that your child can easily clean and delete the Internet History after he stops browsing and you will no more be able to track the websites.

Another method to track websites visited by your child is to use parental control software or web sites monitoring software. When I say websites monitoring software, I don’t refer to keyloggers. Keyloggers are recording chat conversation, application running, keystrokes typed, while a web spy will record only the websites visited. In this way you will not invade the child’s privacy and intimacy. A parental control software has the same functionality like a web spy application and more, can block and filter specific sites. This method should be used if there is a need of a stricter surveillance over children.

The disadvantage is that if you are not explaining to the child the need and the reason why this application was installed, he might feel frustrated and become angry on you.

Children will play online games whether you like it or not. It is certainly better to monitor the gaming habits of your child rather than preventing him or her from playing. Trying to get your children to stop something is like providing them more incentive to do so.

On the other hand, there are many online games that are simply not suitable for children; they contain profanity, nudity and too much violence. If kids are exposed to these factors at a young age, it could severely affect their behavior as children are easily impressionable.

Take for instance the news about an 11 year old killing his 9 year old brother over a video game. Most people would like to blame the presence of a gun in the house as the factor that led to the death. But, many of us have grown up in houses with firearms and we are right here, alive and kicking. The presence of firearms is not enough to kill someone. Even if the crime in this case was committed by a child, it was nonetheless an intentional crime. The child intended to shoot his brother and he did so. Where do you think he got the idea from? The video game he had just finished playing, maybe?

To avoid tragic situations like these, it is best that you choose the online games for your child. Look for games that have a rating suitable for your child’s age. Sometimes, the rating process does not necessarily consider all aspects of the game. It is important to read the review of the game even if is rated as fit for everyone. Look for games that involve either educational elements or team work, as both will help with positive development of the child. Below I pointed the most important aspects you must consider when you choose a game for your child:

Consider the age of your child. Look for games appropriate to his age and knowledge.

Ask for feedback from other parents. You can also take part to specific online communities for parents and you can ask for your feedback there.

Search for reviews over the Internet.

Better choose a game that requires imagination, and improvements than shooting skills (I refer to violent games).

Select games that involve learning: math games, word games, problem solving games, nature and anatomy games etc.

Download games that can be played by more people and play with your kid.

These are the most important issues that you must take in consideration. If there are some parents that can give us an advice or have other ideas let us now in the comment section below and I will add them into the list.

Has this ever happened to you? You write a wonderful blog post, you post it and feel really good about yourself. And out of nowhere you get a comment that completely demoralizes you. It either insults you, your writing skills or your point of view. And there is not much you can do in return, except hide or delete the comment. But, your day is ruined for sure.

People who simply post rude, insulting and hateful messages are called trolls within the online community. And, we are all aware of spammers. They are those who will try to promote their product irrespective of whether or not it is an appropriate method of doing so. Many people have come to believe that trolls and spammers are responsible for ruining social media, as it was supposed to be.

There are many people who are getting completely turned off by the attitude, behavior and activity of trolls and spammers online. Their presence indicates the end of reasonable dialogue or an interesting conversation. Their comments and posts offend, insult and ridicule the point of view presented by the blogger, hence threatening the very existence of free speech on the web.

There are many who believe that anonymity on the net is a significant factor in the existence of trolls and spammers. Anonymity protects people from the consequences of their action and this promotes use of hateful language on the net. People argue that if anonymity on the net was stripped away, it would put an effective end to the nuisance of trolls and spammers on the net. If would also help in the reduction of bogus scams that are out to cheat people. Of course, there are those who believe that anonymity of the net is their right and ending it would actually come in the way of free speech.

This morning I followed a link found in statistics for All-Spy blog to see from where a specific user was coming. The site appears to be just a shareware site, but even so, there was something that captured my attention. So, just look in the image below and see when was our application, the old Print Explorer (new All-Spy Print) released on their site.

It seems that the application was released in 1969 which would make company to have 40 years old. Yeah, you got the point.

So do you know what this mean? I bet you don’t. And this is because children have created a whole new language only for them so they can talk freely without concerning of being understood by us. It seems that parental controls software and monitoring applications are not enough. Even if you know who your child is talking with you will find it very hard to understand what he is talking about.

This new trend gives parents head aches because now they have to learn all these symbols and acronyms. I’ll try to ease your situation a little bit, gathering in this post some resources where you can find explanation of the most used acronyms. In this way, every time you see a strange expression in your child’s chat conversation you can find out it’s meaning.
The first list was originally published by NetLingo several years ago, but is now being circulated online and contains a list of 50 acronyms.

List 1
List 2
List 3

I think these are the most important. It might appear other ones meanwhile but even so, these should help you enough to reveal the message.
Regarding the phrase from the beginning of the post, I will not explain its meaning. It’s your homework and you can post your suggestions in the comments below. The first reader that will post the right message will get a free license of All-Spy Keylogger. Good luck.

The Internet has pervaded our whole life. Because of the ease and convenience it offers, we have all begun to depend upon the Internet for many of our needs. It has now become impossible to think of an office or a home without Internet connectivity. The computer has become as indispensable for work as for doing homework as for shopping and entertainment needs.

Because we now use the internet even for the transfer of the most confidential data like our financial transactions or our personal details, it is even more important to be sure of the security of your computer. Especially if you are sharing your computer with other users, it becomes crucial that your personal information is in no jeopardy because the system is being used by other people. It is also important to ensure that your computer is not being used for any fraudulent use that could land you in trouble.

What you need is PC monitoring software. With PC monitoring software, you can find out for sure what your computer is being used for.

Child pornography and abuse have become a serious concern in the United States of America. Child trafficking has become a growing industry despite the best effort of our law enforcement agencies. But, even as the government works at creating ways and means of prevent child abuse, the primary responsibility of a child’s protection lies with his or her parents.

Today, the Internet has become an intrinsic part of our lives. Our children use the Internet for research and education as well as for entertainment. With the rise of social networking, children today are parts of many social networks like MySpace and FaceBook. In such environments, children come in contact with many strangers, and this is where the danger lies.

Online predators are adept at using the internet to lure children into their trap. They pretend to be children themselves to make friends with other children. Such online predators are a grave threat to your children’s safety and well being and, it is your responsibility to protect your children from them.

It is not possible to look over the shoulders of your child every time he or she is online. It will overwhelm the child and curb his spirit to explore. But, you still need to take steps to protect your child from online predators.

The easiest solution is to get PC monitoring software to be able to keep track of all the websites your child visits and all the people he or she interacts with. If you detect any threat or danger to your child’s safety, you can take immediate action. You can call the police on any person you suspect to be an online predator and you will find them keen to help you. Not only will you be protecting your own child, you will be helping make the Internet free of online predators.
